Adios Europa!

I'm going to be ending my blog post about my Adventure to Europe here. Words can not express what this trip did for my life. It opened up my heart to hear the call of adventure and created a desire to see adventure come alive all around me every day. It also reunited friends, made me appreciate and simultaneously  dislike the US, and showed me that no matter where I go in the World, Jesus is there.  I'll conclude with my pictures from The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See, the third largest gothic cathedral in the world I think.... something like that. I climbed it with my buddy from Boone and let me tell you, it was breath taking, figuratively and literally... no elevators in this place. Haha... but yeah, Amazing place and full of mystery and wonder. I'll tell you more as we go along...

The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See
Shots from the ground and around:

It was one of those days when it was impossible to take a bad picture.

Love the Orange/Clementine Trees... I can never tell the difference.

The Building is massive.... Moving inside...

There are no words to describe hugeness of this building. You just have to see it yourself.

At first I really thought that Lady was real... totally wax.

Got Pipes?
There are Alters everywhere in the Cathedral as well as many individual chapels for private and group prayer(s). This one is world famous and thousands of people come to pray here every year.

Bling Bling...

The Choir Stand

So beautiful...

Again... Hugeness.

The attention to detail is fascinating.
Well... what we have here is the proposed burial place of Christopher Columbus... there are like three in the world, or so I'm told.

This is most simple feature of the Cathedral I saw while I was there. No bling here. Just simple.
That was cool.

I've always been captivated by Stained glass windows in churches, chapels, cathedrals, ... anywhere really. In most cases they portray the story of Christ's life or important events in the History. I'm not sure what all these are and they are in no particular order...

After strolling through some of the interior, we headed up the tower. I don't claim to be much of a photographer but I must say, I think these are some dang good pictures. :) Let me know what you think... ;)
love this one

good friend

That's the Plaza De Espainia in the back ground.

Bell with a bell... get it? haha...

It was such a beautiful day!

Just as we got to the top.. we were greeted with a herd of screaming children.

Such an Amazing place.
Here are some random shots of the University of Seville, I think haha.... Can't remember.
This Guy is  totally getting married in Chile today! Congrats friend!

While I was in Seville, I got a chance to meet up with another dear friend from Boone. The night we hung out at the Pastry shop and walked around in the city was one of my favorite memories.
Dave... always a gangsta.

Such a sweetheart!

Yep... we crazy.

Well... thus concludes my travels in Spain. I left Sevilla and had a layover in Madrid and then on to Dublin for one final night. These last pictures are from my time spent in the air ports and The Dublin City Hotel.... which was a really nice place.

My Fellow Travelers...

View off the balcony at the Dublin City Hotel

Dublin was a very clean city. Kudos.
Again... love the architecture.... so cool.

Thanks Western Europe... I'll be back as soon as I can... haha. But anywho, as I said before, there are no words to describe what taking this trip meant to me. I found so much joy, adventure and purpose. I got closer to God and to my friends. Thanks for reading if you have been. haha... it really does actually mean a lot.

Next up: ... San Diego, California :)
